The Executive Commission

The Executive Board, created by the Decree-Law on the Nationalisation and Reorganisation of the Banco de España in 1962, was renamed the Executive Commission by the Law on the Autonomy of the Banco de España in 1994. Together with the Governing Council, it is the highest administrative body of the Banco de España.
