Climate-related aspects of the Banco de España’s non-monetary policy portfolios

The report on climate-related disclosure of the Banco de España's non-monetary policy portfolios follows the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) regarding the disclosure of climate-related aspects of these portfolios in terms of: i) governance, ii) strategy, iii) risk management and iv) metrics and objectives, and includes, in particular, details on the calculation of the carbon footprint. The first report, published in 2023, contributes to transparency in the disclosure of climate-related information. This report will be published annually.
