Architectural Plans of the Bank of Spain Buildings

The Historical Archive of the Bank of Spain preserves an extensive collection of plans and drawings of its buildings, which forms part of its documentary holdings. These buildings are located in Madrid, in 70 Spanish towns where branches were established, and in the Moroccan cities of Tangier, Larache, and Tetouan, where three agencies were opened. This collection offers a representative sample of the architecture employed and defined by the Bank of Spain from the mid-19th century to the present day.
