Macroeconomic projections for the Spanish economy (2020-2022): the Banco de España's contribution to the Eurosystem's June 2020 joint forecasting exercise

Abstract

This note describes the macroeconomic projections for the Spanish economy for the period 2020-2022. They are part of the projections for the euro area as a whole that were submitted to the ECB’s Governing Council and published on this institution’s website on 4 June. The cut-off date for the technical assumptions used (detailed in Box 1) was 18 May, and the preparation of the projections concluded on 25 May.
